| Account Executive – Europe
Responsible for developing new customer accounts in Europe. The role includes prospecting and qualifying sales leads (including cold calls), processing and closing sales per sales quota. Must have the ability to approach high-level localization and translation decision-makers and make sales presentations to groups. Must have the ability to evaluate and process RFQs as necessary. Requires travel, maintenance and coordination of databases, reporting and forecasting. This position requires someone who can work from home. Position based in Europe.
Essential Job Duties:
- Achieving sales quotas.
- Establish long-term ongoing accounts.
- Developing strategies for identifying leads and closing deals.
- Developing client database.
- Creating and developing proposals for clients.
- Giving presentations on the services and background of the company.
- Identifying and maximizing opportunities with existing customers.
- Conduct sales calls.
- Perform other sales and marketing functions as needed.
Experience:
- Five years in sales.
- Two years of sales experience within the translation industry.
Skills/Abilities:
- Must be fluent in English and at least one other European language.
- Analytical ability.
- Problem solving skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter, who can work on own initiative.
- Ability to work from home.
- Methodical and organized.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a budget.
Software:
- Windows.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Contact Management System (Goldmine, Act).
- Communication Applications (Email Application, Compression Utilities, FTP, Internet Access).
- Translation Memory Tools.
